JW Marriott immediately jumped out as the perfect hotel option for our stay in Panama City due to their impressive pool deck and unique architectural design! Wanting to split our time in the “new city” and the “old city” Casco Viejo, the JW Marriott was our pick for the “new city” hotel stay.
Resembling the architectural design of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the JW Marriott has a unique curved exterior. Standing 70 stories tall, the mix use building is also the tallest in Panama City and Central America!
Everywhere you look at the JW Marriott, you will find stunning city and ocean views. This includes the ride up the elevator to your room as well as from every hotel room balcony!
On sight at the JW are three delicious restaurants: Masi, Cava 15 and Azul. The property also boosts a fully equipped gym, amazing pool deck and several large event spaces.
The pool will be a highlight of your stay at JW Marriott! Located on the 16th floor, the pool deck boosts four separate pools. Two of these pools are infinity pools with incredible views of the Pacific Ocean! If hunger strikes, Azul Restaurant will be at your service pool side.
There are three restaurants on sight at the JW Marriott: Masi, Azul and Cava 15.
Masi Restaurant is the main hotel restaurant serving the hotel’s breakfast buffet. The dinner menu is not to be missed either! Make sure to try their house made ceviche. We highly recommend the appetizer ceviche sampler to try several of their delicious options. Boosting indoor and outdoor dining spaces, the outdoor patio is the perfect place for a cocktail to view the city and sunset views.
Cava 15 has a sultry lounge feel. Perfect for spot to grab a drink or enjoy a romantic date night! But maybe not for those traveling with children.
Azul Restaurant is located pool side on the 16th floor. Located in the middle of the pool deck, Azul is the perfect spot for lunch while you are enjoying the views and sunshine!
All hotel rooms on property have stunning balcony views thanks to the unique curved design of the building! Even with double queen beds, our room felt very spacious with a sitting area, desk and oversized bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower.
